Interpersonal Communication Skills or (How to Work with People Who May Make You Crazy)
Every relationship, both personal and professional, is dependent upon communication. Successful projects and businesses depend on people accurately understanding one another. In this course, participants will learn to communicate with clarity, eliminate communication barriers, influence the actions and thoughts of others, and respond assertively.
During this course, attendees will:
- Participate and receive a personal DiSC Assessment based on your communication style
- Analyze your DiSC Assessment
- Identify your communication style
- Identify everyone else’s communication style
- Learn to “lead from the center.”
- Learn how to ‘connect’ with others with
- Your verbal connection
- Your nonverbal connection
- Your listening connection
- Your confrontation connection
- Apply strategies to stay ‘out of the weeds’ during conflict
Pre-Work: Participants will be asked to complete an on-line DiSC Profile prior to the event. THEREFORE, registration for this event will close one week prior to the start date.
