Learning the basics of Managing Safety involves taking numerous steps to ensure the health and safety of an organization’s workforce, but what are the most important steps to know and learn? AAIM now offers a Safety Manager Certification which provides a comprehensive overview of the basics that all Safety Managers should know and understand. This course satisfies of one of the required training requirements for the AAIM Safety Manager Certification. This course is also available to anyone who wishes to learn more about this particular subject to mitigate hazards, avoid OSHA fines, and improve overall safety for organizations of any type, regardless of whether they are pursuing the AAIM Safety Manager Certification.
This course will cover OSHA’s respiratory protection standards and requirements. We will discuss the identification of respiratory hazards, evaluating respiratory hazards, and implementing a respiratory protection program including medical clearance and monitoring, training, and recordkeeping.
