Safety Subjects: Personal Protective & Lifesaving Equipment IN-PERSON

Learning the basics of Managing Safety involves taking numerous steps to ensure the health and safety of an organization’s workforce, but what are the most important steps to know and learn? AAIM now offers a Safety Manager Certification which provides a comprehensive overview of the basics that all Safety Managers should know and understand in their role. This course satisfies of one of the required training requirements for the AAIM Safety Manager Certification. This course is also available to anyone who wishes to learn more about this particular subject for mitigating hazards, avoiding OSHA fines, and improving overall safety for organizations of any type, regardless of whether they are pursuing the AAIM Safety Manager Certification or not.

This course will cover OSHA’s standards relating to personal protective equipment (PPE) and lifesaving equipment. We will discuss the role of the competent person, workplace hazard assessment, selection of PPE, training and certification.
