Course Overview

Course Length: Two 2-hour sessions

Conflict is an inevitable part of workplace relationships and it can also be productive.  Your conflict interactions may be influenced by other factors such as hierarchy, culture, business atmosphere, as well as personal experiences.  Learning about people’s DiSC communication styles can help you understand their conflict behaviors and how they may differ from your own.

What is a DiSC Assessment?

DiSC® is a personal assessment tool used by more than one million people every year to help improve teamwork, communication, and productivity in the workplace.
Productive Conflict with DiSC® helps participants improve self-awareness around conflict behaviors. Rather than focus on a step-by-step process for conflict resolution, Productive Conflict provides participants with techniques to curb destructive behaviors and effectively respond to conflict situations.

The program features an exploration of DiSC® in a conflict context, provides an opportunity for participants to explore their destructive conflict responses, and offers them a method for making more productive choices in their response to conflict.

With Productive Conflict, learners will:

Pre-Work: Participants will be asked to complete an on-line DiSC Profile prior to the event. THEREFORE, registration for this event will close one week prior to the start date.

This is a two-part series and will run on both dates mentioned in the “Course Dates” listing.
