Delegation is not only a way of increasing your personal productivity–if used effectively, but delegation can also be a useful tool for training, coaching, and empowering employees. Successful delegation requires thorough planning, clear communication, structured follow-up, and feedback. This course will take a look at some of the issues surrounding delegation and ways of improving your personal delegation practices.

At the end of this course, attendees will be able to:
• Explain what it means to delegate.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the different purposes and applications of delegation.
• Identify specific work you should be delegating and different ways to use delegation withindividual employees.
