Prompt Camp ’26 is a 3-hour live, instructor-led working session designed for HR professionals who are already using generative AI tools and want to move from inconsistent results to repeatable, high-quality output. The program addresses a gap most HR practitioners face: they have access to AI, but lack a deliberate framework for using it well.

Through guided self-assessment, a structured six-element prompting framework, and hands-on practice using participants’ own real HR scenarios, attendees will build a personalized prompt playbook for their specific role — whether that’s recruiting, employee relations, compensation, performance management, learning and development, or compliance.

The session emphasizes practical application over tool demonstration. Participants leave with a concrete prompt playbook, a clear framework for evaluating AI output quality, and the discipline to refine prompts rather than accept first-pass results. The curriculum is tool-agnostic and applies to ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini, and other widely used generative AI platforms.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:
1. Assess their current AI prompting skill level using a structured self-assessment framework and identify specific gaps between casual AI use and disciplined application.
2. Apply a six-element prompting framework (role, context, task, guidelines, output expectations, and constraints) to construct high-quality prompts for HR-specific scenarios.
3. Construct a personalized prompt playbook of role-specific prompts that can be reused across daily HR work, including recruiting, employee communications, compensation analysis, performance management, and compliance review.
4. Evaluate AI-generated output for accuracy, completeness, and fit-for-purpose, and apply iterative refinement techniques rather than accepting first-pass results.
5. Recognize the appropriate use cases — and the limits — of generative AI within an HR function, including considerations around employee data, confidentiality, and compliance with employment law.
