Prerequisites: The course requires that you are familiar with using personal computers and should be comfortable in the Windows environment and be able to use Windows to manage information on your computer.
Description: This course will familiarize students with Excel, helping them to learn creating, entering and editing text, values, and formulas and how to save workbooks. They will learn to move and copy data and formulas, and work with ranges (contiguous versus non-contiguous), rows, and columns. Students will also learn to use simple functions and easily apply formatting techniques to worksheet data. They will review workbooks for spelling errors, modify page setup, and print professional looking worksheets.
