Participants will explore how companies create value, analyze financial basics like profit margins and EBITDA, and practice linking HR metrics directly to business outcomes. Through group discussions and case studies, you’ll learn how HR drives revenue, efficiency, and innovation across every function — from Sales and Marketing to IT and Operations.
At the end of this 2 hour class, participants will be able to:
- Define business acumen and its role in HR’s strategic influence.
- Identify how HR supports value creation across departments.
- Understand key financial terms (P&L, EBITDA, margins) and why they matter to HR.
- Translate HR metrics (turnover, time-to-fill, engagement) into business impact statements.
