Emotional Intelligence or EI is the ability to recognize your emotions, understand them, and see how they affect those around you. Having high emotional intelligence also means you understand other people’s emotions. This allows you to manage your relationships better and avoid potential conflicts. In this course, we will explore tactics to understand moods & emotions, understand how to use emotions to facilitate thought, as well as understand how to recognize and regulate emotions in yourself and in others to improve your own EI. This course is designed to help individual contributors, supervisors and team leaders alike improve their ability to work effectively with others.
