- Multiple Plans Are the New Standard
- 70% of employers offer a choice of more than one medical plan—PPOs, HDHPs, and HMOs—giving employees more control over their healthcare.
- Employers Still Carry the Load
- Employer-paid benefits average 30%–37% of payroll, with significant contributions toward both single and family medical coverage.
- 401(k) Remains King
- The most common retirement plan? A 401(k), 403(b), or 457, with employer matches averaging 2.5% to 4.9%.
- Dental & Vision Coverage Hold Steady
- 83% of employers offer dental coverage—most through standalone PPOs. Vision coverage is also widely available.
