Gaining an understanding of some of the best practices and trends of diversity hiring is the first step to launching a successful diversity hiring program.

Session #2 – Avoiding Legal Landmines:  An Employer’s Guide to Lawful Recruitment and Hiring

As any good business person knows, to have a successful business you must hire the right people.  While never easy, recent changes have only made the task of recruitment and hiring more difficult.  In this session, the group will discuss the latest restrictions imposed on the hiring process, review the baseline rules, and most importantly consider recent examples of how and why the process can go wrong.  The purpose of this session is to spark a discussion of best practices and critical real-world “dos and don’ts” to make sure you hire the right people, without unintentionally creating any liability in the process. This session is designed for anyone involved in the recruitment or hiring process.
